Camp Holston was founded in 1944 by the Seventh Day Baptist
Church as a place for retreat, recreation, and refreshment. We
offer a Christian camping experience for kids throughout the
summer, as well as many opportunities for picnics and retreats
throughout the year. The beautiful private lake-front property is
the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet it
is located just a few miles south of town. We offer great
Bible-based teaching curricula at our organized camps along with
crafts, swimming, boating, fishing, games, campfires, and the like.
With a large main lodge, separated boys' and girls' dormitories, a
boathouse, commercial-grade kitchen with cook's cabin, and a
large outdoor stage, you can always find plenty to do. The
facilities are also available to rent at unbelievable rates!
